Dear _______,
We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted at Rosewood Academy of Magical Education. Though a fairly new school, it is nonetheless a top rate American School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At our school, you will be sorted into one of four houses, and you will have the opportunity to attend classes, play quidditch, and participate in many other fun activities around campus. Be warned though, our school has a bit of a bad reputation...you see, we accept the type of people commonly rejected or expelled by other schools. Students with a bit of non-human blood in them, or those with special abilities. We have a large werewolf pack that seems to grow constantly, despite our best efforts. Kind of like the body count...but don't let that little bit of unpleasantness turn you away from the school.
After all, the academics here are still top notch. Creature Studies, Transfiguration, and the like can all be found here. And for the students, it's a safe haven. They come from all over North America, and even a few international students have crossed over to attend. When no one else will give them a chance, Rosewood will. And seeing as the headmistresses themselves have a couple of...unique abilities, they understand and respect diversity. So, some of that diversity is a little bit "dangerous". As long as you stay indoors during the night, you'll be just fine. Even if you've heard a few rumors about a werewolf pack, or a gang of girls aiming to take over the magical world after they graduate - or perhaps before - you shouldn't let it get to you, right? Rumors are ugly things, and there's not much truth to them...right?
Thanks to some of the latest magical innovations, our school is entirely unplottable, although we can divulge that we're somewhere in the pacific northwest. Therefore, we expect you to be on your train, or separate method of transport as specified on your ticket which you will find enclosed in this package, right on time. You wouldn't want to miss your opportunity for a top rate American magical education, and the only one to value the diversity of the magical world. Enclosed you'll find a list of courses offered and some basic supplies guidelines, and your ticket as mentioned earlier. We hope to see you soon.
We welcome rpers of all skill levels, no experience required. Our friendly staff members are always happy to help new members get going. Prefect positions are open, as are house qudditch team signups, so join now!
