Ron walked along the corridor, still somewhat awestruck by the sheer size of the place. Sure, he'd heard stories from his brothers, but nothing compared to the actual thing. He was still incredibly pleased that he'd ended up in Gryffindor. Nearly everyone in his family had gone there. He was looking around so much that he didn't really watch where he had been going. Fortunately, he didn't have classes that day or he'd have been incredibly late. The professors all seemed strange, especially Professor Snape. he knew straight away he wasn't ever going to like the greasy man. Turning a corner, he slammed into someone and fell backwards.

Hermione was in a hurry. She had so much work to get done and in so little time. She didn't have time for anything else anymore it seemed and she wasn't going to put up with idiots either that happened to be sharing her house. She only hoped the staircases wouldn't change again. That thoroughly annoyed her especially when she was in a hurry like she was now. And she didn't expect anyone to be there at the hour and of course right around the corner and she hadn't been paying attention.
She ran straight into him, looking down most of the time and all of her books went flying out of her arms in a mess. "WHY don't you look where you're going?!" She spat, knowing full well it had been her fault but she wasn't about to admit that.

"Me, watch where I'm going? Speak for yourself. It's a wonder you can see anything around that pile of books. You are aware that you don't need to check out the entire library... The books don't explode if you don't check them out all at once." This girl was barking, he'd swear it. This was the same show-off he'd met on the train and he'd disliked her immediately. Who wouldn't? "Next time, get your nose out of the book and keep your eyes on the corridor," he snorted.

"Oh shut up. Honestly, like YOU would know what books were anyway." She said, grabbing for as many as she could since he was being an idiot and not a gentleman at all. He wasn't even helping her pick up part of the mess that he'd made. Though he probably couldn't see past his dumb looking nose anyway. "at least my nose has been in a book. I don't think yours could suffer finding a few pages of its own. More or less it might make you look less vacant. But I don't know maybe your face got stuck like that. Now if you DON'T mind you're staying on my book."

"You're not even human. Nobody could possibly read this much at a time. It's absurd. No wonder nobody likes you. It's like you're under the Imperius Curse." She was a total and complete nutter. Merlin only knows what sort of things she'd think about. Come to think of it, why would he even wonder or care what she thought about? Flushing an odd pink color, he reached down and retrieved the book he was standing on and held it out to her.

She grabbed it, almost wrenching it out of his hand before making herself say "Thank you. You're horrible. I am too..human..."She took the book in her arms, ignoring the other ones on the floor and the mess she had made. The things he had said were horribly though scarily true. "Of course people like me.."Her eyes were threatening to well up again. She had had quite a nasty week with these emotional things and a certain Weasley wasn't making anything better at all.
"I'm not under a curse. I just want to be good at something. Did that ever occur to you? No it didn't. Nothing gets past that thick skull of yours." She shot back, not letting him see the tears as she pushed past him with the one book in her arms. She would find them later..

Draco smirked when he spotted two Gyffindors not too far away. Even at this distance he knew exactly who the two ugly persons are. Crabbe and Goyle as usual, headed to the bathroom again, so he was alone this time. But that didn't make a difference at all, those two were usually useless to him. He felt for his wand as he approach the two of them. It's there, good. He silently walked by his side and leaned against the wall of the corridor. "I see you two are making progress. It won't be long before Granger turns into a Weasley." He said, looking from one to another. He couldn't help but put on his signature smirk for the two of them.
This is going to be a fun day.

Pansy walked around the corner and saw Draco she smiled and then saw he was with two gryffindors her faced changed to confusion she wondered why an earth he would be seen talking to them but the thought that it was obviously because he was making them feel worse about themselves she laughed and walked towards them, she saw a young boy with red hair and second hand clothes. Oh look another one of those weasleys and oh god its her again the little mudblood she thought to herself, she stood beside Malfoy and looked at the girl. "Oh hello again what a pleasant surprise a weasley and a mudblood how sweet"She smirked at them, Pansy could come across quite nasty but to her friend she was as nice as anything most of the time she brushed her brown hair out of her eyes and pulled her bag futher over her shoulder. "Aww have you dropped you little books let me help"She said she took out her wand and murmed a spell under her breath the books flew in the air Pansy laughed as the book floated abovethe bushy haired girls head, she then flicked her wand and the books went flying behind the girl scatted some pages were ripped out. She turned to malfoys and smiled at him "Stupid Gryffindors"She said with a smile as she looked at him and then turned back watching the girl closley.

Hermione gasped, recognizing the blond from in the great hall and the other girl from the train station. They were both getting on her nerves. Did they have nothing else better to do than to tease her? For being smart and having the wrong blood? "Leave me alone. I didn't do anything to you." She wasn't going to defend the boy even though she knew she should. HE wasn't saying a word anyway for some reason and that bothered her. The ginger haired idiot.
"We're not together. Shut up! I hope you can pay for those books!" She shouted in horror as the books went this way and that, ripped pages and all.

Pansy laughed as the girl seemed to care for her book so much. "Ofcourse i could afford to replace them i'm rich, but i would never give my money to a dirty little muggleborn, what have you done to me? well lets see you came to this school and your asking me to pay for some stupid books. Thats what you've done to me, you just seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Im simply bored and saw Draco and thought i would come over and talk with him and i saw you here, so i thought i would do something to make me laugh"She said glaring at the girl, ever since Pansy had met her she seemed to get on her nerves, the weasley boy however hadn't said a word, he seemed to know when to be quiet.
"Well i think you should be together i think that would be a good combination, a mudblood and a blood traitor"She giggled once again and looked at them both, she turned to Draco and smiled at him again, she twizzled her hair whilst she stood still watching the girl get upset about her precious books.
