Theo headed out into the Forbidden Forest. It creeped him out, but it was pretty quiet out there. Outside of being killed and eaten, his only other fears were Hagrid and Filch. He couldn't afford to be caught by them. It was too early in the year to have an owl sent to his father. When he reached the forest, it seemed like it would be dark and scary. Theo wasn't usually much of a thrill seeker but if it kept him away from Hermione Granger, then it was alright in his book. He wandered in a few feet and was amazed by how dark it was inside. It was practically night in there and even the slightest noise made him jump.

Kat decided to take a stroll in the forest.Why is it Frobidden?It doesn't seem it would beKat got to the edge of the of Forest and she crept in.The last thing she wanted to do is bring attention to herself by making a noise.She avvoided screaming when a branch scratched her arm.It went deep into her skin.Kat ignored it untill she could do something about it.She saw a figure.She thought it maybe filch because it was tall.But then it looked groomed.Kat decided to creep up on them.She got next to him and saw it was Theo."Hi,i thought you were someone else"Kat smiled and wanted to hug him but didn't.

Theo jumped and turned round quickly when he heard someone speak. Thank Merlin it was only Kat. He seemed to be running into Granger a lot lately and was really relieved that it wasn't her. "Sorry to disappoint, it's only me. Are you alright, that looks like a nasty scratch?" He smiled at her, but it was weak rather than beaming. He didn't know how deep she was cut and besides, he hated the sight of blood. It would have been a lot easier if they'd learned a few healing spells already.

Kat looked at the cut."It's alright.I will just wrap it up."Kat got her bag and looked through it.She found nothing that could help her."Darn..."Kat decided to take her shirt off.It reveled a tank top.Kat ripped her shirt and wrapped a peice of it around her cut."Oh no it's ok.I like to see you,what's up with Hermon or what her name is not liking you?There is nothing not to like."Kat smiled at him as she stood up again.

"You know what, I really have no idea. I ran into her in the courtyard and she was being her typical Gryffindor self and I made no move to attack her and she hexed me. There's something seriously wrong with that girl. She didn't bother to even introduce herself first. She seems to like you well enough though. She didn't hex you or try and pick a fight, maybe it's because your a girl. What brings you out here anyway?" He smiled at her, he couldn't help it. She seemed like a pleasant person and seemed to know the right thing to say without having a attitude.

Kat smiled up at him.He was quite tall."Well i thought i should sneak a peak of the ForbiddenForest.I don't know why it's forbidden?It's seems nice and peaceful.Almost like i am the only one on earth.You know?"Kat hated when she got into her dreamy state of mind.She just drifts off randomly in conversations.She almost fell to the ground then she caught herself.Before she fell.She shook her head and looked at Theo.

"I have no idea why it's forbidden either. It's cool, very ethereal. It does seem very peaceful, and the solitude out here is amazing. It's like nobody could ever bother you or tell you what to do out here. Are you ok? It looked for a moment like you were going to faint. I'm not that great looking so it has to be either the heat or the cut." He refused to panic. Somehow, he felt that she would be alright, at least that's what he hoped.

Kat smiled at him"I'm ok.Just got weak for a sec.Maybe i should sit down."Kat saw a boulder.She wiped it off and sat on it."Why, you aren't hott and you aren't totally unforunate looking.Just cute,that's all."Kat looked at a worm on the ground.She picked it up and set it on her lap.She stroked it.She wondered why other girls never like worms,they were so nice and harmless.What would thye feel like if they were a worm and people just ran away from them?Kat picked up the worm and loked at it at eye level.

He headed over to where she was sitting and saw the worm on her lap. He'd never seen a girl go anywhere near one, let alone allow it to crawl on her in any fashion. "Worms are actually very interesting creatures. If they get traumatized or cut in half, they can become two whole worms and still survive. If people were like that, there'd probably be a whole lot less murder in the world because instead of having only one person you don't like, there'd be two or more of the same person." There wasn't much to say at that moment and waht he said was probably stupid, but it came out before he could stop himself.

Kat looked at Theo.She set the worms on her lap again."Well,that would be funny.If you cut Hermione in half then there would just be anouther one of her.that could get annoying for you."Kat smiled."Do you want to touch it?"Kat picked up the worm and offered it to theo.

Kat was in wonder why he said that about humans.Cutting humans in half and just having anouther one.Very weird thing to say.I have my weird moments too.Kat wished she had more at lunch that day.Her stomach growled and she laughed.

"That would be rather unnerving. One of her is enough. I don't think I could deal with two." The thought of two Hermione's hexing him was scary, but the thought of two or more Millicent Bulstrodes was even scarier. Milicent was built like the average silverback mountain gorilla and he wanted to stay on her good side. She was one person he hoped never got angry with him. When she offered him the worm, he took it from her and let it just squirm around in his hand. It felt really weird. A bit like rubber, leather and slime all in one. As gross as it seemed, it was rather cool.

Kat smiled as he took the worms from her."Yeah,"Kat felt nervous because it was silent once again."What are you doing out here?Just wanting to take alook at this place like me i suppose?"Kat watched the worm squirm around on Theo's hand.She giggled and she looked around the ground again.She found a few leaves but nothing else but dirt.She was starving.She started to imagine the trees were broccolli.She looked at the worms and saw it as a moving gummy worm.She would even eat the worm if she had to she was soo hungry.

"Me? I was bored and wanted to find somewhere that wasn't over run with people. Since it's forbidden, I thought it would be as good a place as any." He took the worm and set it back on the ground. "Did you want to go back inside and get something to eat? The house-elves are pretty good about afternoon snacks." He didn't know if she was hungry or not, but he thought he might want something quick before classes resumed. He hadn't skipped lunch or anything but like most eleven year old boys, it seemed like a good idea to him to sneak down to the kitchens.

Kat smiled at him.She looked at the worm still crawling to get away from them."Have you ever ate a worm before?I wonder how they taste."Kat looked at Theo.She laughed holding her stomach.She fell off the rock still laughing.She hit her head on anouther small rock but she didn't care.She just laughed.She said something just so random.Why did i say that?Why couldn't i have just said yeah sure let's go.He must think i'm some sort of freak!Kat started to cry because she couldn't stop laughing.

Theo made a strange, disgusted face at the thought of eating a worm. Sure, they must have been some sort of protein, but eating one was out of the question. "No, I've never eaten one. They probably taste really nasty, after all, they live in the dirt." He didn't think she was a freak, but he did wonder if she was seriously considering eating one. He hoped not because that would be something he couldn't watch, not even on a dare.
